Learning Outcomes of the Lesson
After completion of this lesson, learners will:
- be able to define concept of Social Business Management and differentiate them from traditional business management practices.
- be able to define the concepts of social entrepreneur and social innovator as individuals supporting and practicing Social Business Management;
- recognize key characteristics of Social Business Management such as: dual focus/mission/objectives; innovative solutions; institutional plurality; social impact; community/societal engagement; financial sustainability.
- be able to recognize key characteristics of Inclusive Business Management such as: target group with economically disadvantage (vulnerable) persons, groups, communities and addressability to economic exclusion situation.
- examine practical business models case studies (or their own social business), gaining insights on the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) model, balancing social, environmental, and economic responsibilities.
- be able to identify innovative solutions for social and inclusive businesses.
- know how to develop CANVAS Social Business Models.
- examine practical case studies (or their own social business!), gaining insights into social needs, business models, building partnership, measuring social impact of successful social enterprises on local and global scales.
- will be encouraged to apply the CANVAS Social Business Model to address specific social challenges, considering innovative approaches for creating impactful and sustainable solutions.
