Learning Outcomes of the Lesson
After completion of this lesson, learners will:
- understand the basic features of the legal framework of Social Entrepreneurship existing on the level of the EU.
- be able to define key objectives of social entrepreneurship within the EU framework as established by the fundamental treaties.
- be able to put into perspective different national legislation and EU principles regarding Social Enterprises.
- orient themselves when choosing the legal form of SE that suits them most.
- apply knowledge to real-world scenarios.
- apply the legal knowledge gained of social entrepreneurship when setting up their own social enterprise, considering that it is advisable to get professional legal assistance at least in the initial stages of founding their social organizations.
