Video example and instruction
In this section, an explainer video is available as an instruction for creating a video that may be posted on social media (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok). Besides a short, interactive video, an example of a video that may be created to be posted on Facebook or YouTube, several practical information and guidelines are available within the interactive video or as separate PDF documents in this section.
Based on the instructions, one should be able to produce instructional videos, good practice examples, coaching videos, feedback videos and lessons learned videos. These videos may cover topics such as digital learning methods, tools, and skills, and they will empower professionals and volunteer community workers to create their own media content. The goal is to share the videos on social media platforms and reach a wide audience. Video engagement may measure success, including clicks, shares, and interactions.
Regarding the software that may be used to produce a video, we suggest Canva. Of course, other tools may also be applied, but they usually require more specific knowledge. Additional information about approaches to video production and corresponding digital tools may be found in another course available on our platform, “MED2IaH – Digital Storytelling Video Production”.
