Overview of the Module
General Aim of the Module
This module aims to deepen students’ understanding of the critical role that social entrepreneurship plays in community development. It focuses on creating collaborative spaces that foster engagement between communities and entrepreneurs, providing access to education and skills development, and encouraging entrepreneurship to drive economic empowerment. Students will explore the importance of community involvement in problem-solving, the impact of education and skills training on community development, and the ways in which entrepreneurship can be leveraged to promote economic growth and empowerment. By the end of the module, students will be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills needed to initiate and lead community-driven social entrepreneurial ventures that contribute to sustainable development and improved quality of life.
