Overview of the Module
General Aim of the Module
This module, Teaching Social Entrepreneurship & Mentoring Student Projects aims to provide key information and tools for teaching and mentoring social entrepreneurship projects. The module contains the following lessons:
- Lesson 1: General introduction to mentoring
- Lesson 2: Methods and tools for mentoring
- Lesson 3: Online mentoring
- Lesson 4: Tools for teaching social entrepreneurship
The module equips mentors and teachers with knowledge for teaching social entrepreneurship and mentoring the development of social entrepreneurship projects online and face-to-face. Participants will learn about mentoring types and relationships, how to strengthen and improve mentoring relationships online and offline and understand key aspects of successful mentoring relationships. They will become familiar with mentoring standards and analyse key factors for a successful mentoring session. Additionally, they will recognise the benefits, challenges and solutions to online mentoring. Last but not least, they will reflect on skills needed when teaching and learning social entrepreneurship and become familiar with a few templates for developing social entrepreneurship projects, including measuring their impact.

- Understand the minimum requirements for a successful mentoring relationship and the mentoring standards.
- Building successful mentor-mentee relationships.
- Understand the benefits and challenges of a mentor-mentee relationship online.
- Reflect on the skills needed when teaching and learning social entrepreneurship.
- Learn methods and techniques for teaching social entrepreneurship.
- Learn how to effectively support students in developing a social entrepreneurship project.
