Welcome to the course on University and Science-Society Dialogue! This course will explore the complex relationship between scientific research and society. We will discuss how scientific knowledge is generated and communicated and how it shapes our understanding of the world. We will also examine the ways in which scientific research is influenced by social, economic, and political factors and how it, in turn, impacts society. Throughout the course, we will focus on the role of universities in facilitating dialogue between scientists and society and the importance of engaging with diverse stakeholders in the scientific process. By the end of the course, you will have a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities of science-society dialogue and the role that universities can play in fostering a more inclusive and equitable approach to scientific research.
