The transition of minor migrants into adulthood

Overview of contents

This course focuses on transitioning unaccompanied minors into the adult system, which is a very complex process. The course brings some ideas on how to smoothen the transition for minors entering the adult system and mitigate the problems often accompanying this rather harsh cutoff.

The course is divided into 2 lessons. No certificate of participation could be earned in this course.

Learning objectives

  • to present the idea of a transition model including concepts like the chain of education, stabilisation and orientation of young migrants, and engagement of hardly accessible social groups
  • to present obstacles and opportunities for inclusion into the labour world

Course creator

The course contents were created in the CiSoTRA project financed under Erasmus+ KA3 action.
