Welcome to the “Storytelling as a Learning Opportunity” course! This course aims to support students in developing their storytelling skills and using stories as a powerful means of learning.
In our first lesson, we’ll explore the concept of storytelling and its role as a social and cultural activity. We’ll also delve into the history of storytelling, from its origins in visual, oral, and written forms to its modern digital adaptations. By the end of this lesson, you’ll understand why storytelling is considered an essential and universal form of communication.
Our second lesson focuses on digital storytelling, explaining its various applications as an effective educational tool.
In the third lesson, we’ll discuss the key characteristics of digital stories and provide practical tips for creating engaging narratives.
In the final lesson, we empower students with a multilingual student manual to help them produce their storytelling videos.
